Our Farewell

Dear customers,

It saddens me to say that we’ll be closing Carrots & Daikon soon. As much as we would like to blame the economy, the cost-of-living crisis, rising food and energy bills and the aftermath of the pandemic, these were not the main reasons for this decision.

Our little shop has had a good run, eight and a half amazing years on this side of Kentish Town has been an incredible journey and one I couldn’t have imagined playing out any better than it already has.

If you’re wondering ‘oh no, where am I going to get my lunches from now?‘. Rest assured we won’t be closing until Friday 23th June 2023 and that I (David) will still be in and around the area. Hopefully I’ll be bringing in different food vendors/traders into this space to cater to you all.

When all is said and done, we’re truly sad to be leaving. We’ve decided to close the shop because of personal family commitments and the opportunity for a new start.

Thank you everyone for all your love and support over the years. It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know you, your orders, your likes and dislikes and everything else in between.
